His love affair with the fashion and style industry has been a lasting one, and that shows very well in the distinguished skills that he has acquired during the more than ten years work experience that he has had in the industry.Originally from New Delhi, Mohit is currently stationed as the owner and style director at his venture, Mohit Rai Style Consultancy in Mumbai. Before starting his own style consultancy, he has worked at various positions during different stages of his career.The first job that Mohit took up was as the fashion stylist at ‘Harper’s Bazaar India Magazine’ from 2009 to 2012. He then worked as the creative director at ‘The Wardrobist’ in Mumbai from 2012 to 2014. Mohit has also worked as the fashion director for the ‘Harper’s Bazaar Bride India’ that he calls his first love among magazines.As part of his career with Bride India, Mohit has been an indispensable member of the brilliant #FollowMeTo series featuring photographer Murad Osmann and his girlfriend Nataly during their visit to India. The very fact that Mohit visualised, conceptualised and executed such an amazing cover shoot that went viral almost instantly says loads about his talent as ‘the fashion guy.’ The shoot was much appreciated and it's better and second version happened too. It was equally successful. Until 2015 Mohit worked with the magazine, after which he set out to launch and work at his venture MR styles, the legacy of which goes on until the present day.
